Principal Onyx Blackman
Flatpoint High School's principal, Onyx Blackman, is a stentorian autocrat. When School Board members Henry and Alice, with whom he's involved in a messy love triangle, put pressure on him to win the upcoming Science Fair, he in turn passes the stress on to his staff. He brings in a science fair ringer, Roger Beekman, to guarantee success. This decision ends up driving a wedge between formerly "friendly" teachers Chuck Noblet and Geoffrey Jellineck. Blackman makes sure Beekman's team gets every science whiz in the school, which forces Chuck Noblet to scrape the bottom of the barrel, making his team, The Fig Neutrons, the clear underdogs of the competition.Blackman is played by Greg Hollimon |
