Betty works overtime when Daniel finds his old compulsive sexual habits hard to break. A gossip scribe named Quincy Combs, who is writing a tell-all book about the Meade family, shows up at Daniel's office and Betty sends him away. Wilhelmina forces Christina to help her to find clothes that will help her in her seduction of Bradford. Constance removes Ignacio's electronic ankle bracelet and tells him that she'll arrange a meeting with an attorney at her apartment that night. Betty warns Daniel that he has to clean up his act, so that Combs won't be able to make him look really bad in his book. Amanda and Marc agree that they both hate Alexis's assitant, Nick Pepper. Wilhelmina wonders why Quincy Combs is in the office and Amanda reveals that he is there to have a meeting with Alexis, to whom he then reveals that he has possession of Fey Sommers' diaries and that Fey and Bradford had a secret room somewhere in the building in which they would have their passionate assignations during the work day. Daniel meets with a young model and her sister and makes a date with them. Christina warns Betty that she shouldn't be friends with Daniel, not only because he's her boss, but also because the people at Mode are too treacherous for friendships. When Betty admits that all of her non-work time is spent doing things for Daniel, Christina convinces her that they should go out together that evening for some Meade-free fun at a club called Prague. Wilhelmina worries because her flirtations with Bradford seem to go unnoticed. Amanda tries to sabotage Nick's standing with Alexis, and to improve her own, by making it seem as though he's doing personal things while he's supposed to be helping his boss. While Betty and Christina are on the dance floor at Prague with a couple guys that they've met, Daniel, Becks, and their dates make a boisterous entrance into the club. Marc tells Wilhelmina about Fey's diary, so she is determined to find out what Fey had written, thinking that it could help her to fulfill her ambitions. She meets the pint-sized writer on a pier, where he gives her tips on how to entice Bradford into an affair: the secret is soft, shapely feet. At Constance's apartment, she reveals her plan to Ignacio for the two of them to get married in Atlantic City the next morning, supposedly just to facilitate his ability to become a citizen. Hilda and Justin learn from a man who claims to be Ignacio's actual case worker that Constance had been fired two months earlier and that he'd taken over all of her cases. Hilda calls Ignacio to warn him that Constance is crazy. Alexis searches for the secret room and Amanda offers to help her, but Alexis turns her down. Ms. Meade explains that Amanda's history with Daniel makes her a poor fit, but she is desperate enough to ask the receptionist if she knows anything about Fey and Bradford's "love dungeon." Amanda says that it was just a legend that didn't really exist. Betty thinks that she sees Quincy Combs in the club and she uses the deejay's microphone to try to warn Daniel, but she humiliates herself when it turns out that the person in the red hat was a woman and not Combs. Daniel snaps and tells Betty to leave him alone after work hours and that she should "punch out." He returns to his date, who thinks that Betty is a stalker. Wilhelmina goes into Bradford's office and makes an excuse for taking her shoes off, and her employer is clearly captivated. Alexis learns from a passage in Fey's diary that Bradford was consumed by guilt over how their most recent confrontation had ended, shortly before Alex had gone off to Europe. After Constance puts on a wedding dress and forces Ignacio into a tacky tuxedo, he has a talk with her and he ends up feeling badly enough about her circumstances to forgive her for what she's done. Christina confesses to Betty about how she'd been selected to get her designs presented in the Fashion Week runway show. Betty feels betrayed by her only real friend at Mode, because she knows that there were probably many things that she'd told Christina about Daniel that were probably then relayed to Wilhelmina. While rummaging through the closet, during Christina's absence, Amanda unwittingly opens the entrance to Fey and Bradford's love nest, but she doesn't notice her discovery. Alexis calls Bradford, hoping to reconcile, but Wilhelmina sends the call to voicemail. After Daniel sleeps with Petra, her sister Lena reveals that she is in fact the girl's mother and that her daughter is young enough to make their encounter a case of statutory rape. Lena then tries to pressure Daniel into putting Petra on the cover of Mode. Daniel calls Betty to ask for her help, but she tells Ignacio to tell him that she's off the clock.
