Betty has her job cut out for her getting ready for Mode's runway show during New York City's Fashion Week, while Hilda is doing a whole lot of nothing after losing her Herbalux job and she's upset that the character her telenovela got a job quickly (albeit in a strip club). Bradford tells Daniel that he wants to have a talk with him and Daniel thinks that it's about how he'll never be able to fill his dead brother's shoes, but Bradford actually wanted to discuss his plans to announce to the press that he's stepping down as head of the company and he'll be turning over the reins to Daniel. Marc has dreams of going on an Island Boys Cruise, but he'll need some quick cash to make the dream a reality, and he shares his money-making scheme idea with Amanda. Every year during Fashion Week he steals something that he determines will be the hot item of the season and he sells it to Eternal 18 so they can come out with their own knock-off within days after the item is unveiled at the event. The divine Fabia returns to Mode to spar with Wilhelmina. Henry shows up to explain to Betty about the kiss that Aerin planted on him at the holiday party, but Hilda shows up to make copies of her resumé and interrupts. Becks, Daniel's wild photojournalist friend (his photographic subjects are wild, and so is he), shows up after a job in Africa and he tries to tempt Daniel back into his old ladykiller ways, because Fashion Week, he reminds his old buddy, is the "Bootylympics."  Betty is mortified when Daniel sees Hilda, learns that she needs a job, and offers her a temporary position helping Betty with her event preparations. The bad memories of their last joint venture, selling lemon ices when they were kids, are still fresh in Betty's mind. Christina's nerves are on edge, too, as she prepares her very first real public display of her own designs, which will happen during Mode's annual "Ten Designers to Watch" fashion show the next day. Meanwhile, in Queens, Ignacio and Constance review the forms that he has filled out and which ones he still has to complete. She gets emotional because she was just dumped by her boyfriend. Wilhelmina and Alexis coordinate their plans for the big surprise that they have in store for the next day. Justin convinces Hilda and Betty to take him to Mode's Fashion Week event. Wilhelmina has an unpleasant surprise when she wakes up after having gotten a special "duck sauce" cosmetic treatment that was recommended to her by Fabia. At the event, Becks makes his usual bet with Daniel, for one dollar, that whoever scores with the hottest girl in the place wins. At that moment, a tall blonde enters the Mode tent and Daniel thinks that he has found a sure bet winner, even though he's not really interested in playing along with Becks this year. Justin feels like he's going to pass out when he sees Heidi Klum and Seal... and "Baby Seal."  As Betty predicted, she and Hilda clash constantly while trying to work together. Wilhelmina, whose eyes are almost swollen shut, forces Marc to be her "seeing-eye gay," which he's afraid will interfere with his search for this year's hot item. Walter complains to Ignacio that Betty seems very distant lately. Constance shows up on her own time to make some gumbo with Ignacio, and to watch Failure to Launch. Daniel sees Becks introducing himself to the beautiful blonde, so he decides to join them. Hilda seems to bond quickly and easily with everyone around her, which bothers Betty as much as the fact that her sister isn't doing what she's been telling her to do. Amanda finds the hot item of 2007 in the Betsey Johnson tent, the faux rabbit fur micro mini, and she calls Marc to tell him that their search is over. Marc makes Willi think that a mannequin is Uma Thurman, so while she's busy talking to the inanimate object, Marc commandeers Justin to be his replacement, which is probably the biggest thrill of the young boy's life. Henry shows up with a Mode shirt for Betty that will fit her better than the one that she'd been given by Amanda. She also learns of the phone message that he'd left for her after the holiday party, but that Hilda had never passed on to her. Alexis is impressed by how Daniel has changed when she observes how her brother interacts with Betty. When Alexis confesses to Daniel that she is indeed his brother Alex, he thinks that it is just some sick joke that Becks had put her up to pulling on him. Amanda tries to get Marc to seduce the model who is wearing the coveted skirt, but he's not up to the challenge, so she sends Becks in his place. Hilda and Daniel commiserate about their sisters: Hilda's just fired her, and Daniel's just came back from the dead. Ignacio learns from Toussaint Duvalier, Constance's ex-boyfriend, that she has a habit of getting involved with men whose cases she's working on, and they feel obligated to satisfy her wishes, because their fates rest in her hands. Christina's show ends with a surprise model, Alexis, who announces to the audience that she is indeed Alex Meade, and that her father, Bradford, is guilty Fey's murder.
