It's the day after Thanksgiving and Daniel wakes up in the Suarez house after Betty rescued him from his night of self-pity boozing over losing Sofia. Wilhelmina questions Marc in an attempt to discover who was in her office on Thanksgiving. Sofia tells Betty that Hunter is bringin her to Maine to look at a house that he'd like to buy. While Daniel recovers from his hangover, with help from Ignacio and the rest of the Suarez family, Betty has to cover for him at the office. In particular, she has to deal with an important exclusive photo shoot, which is to feature Hollywood a supercouple, Tim and Chloe, and their new baby daughter, Chutney. Daniel has a Christmas tree sent over to the Suarez home as a way to thank them for their kindness and as they put their decorations on its branches and reminisce he realizes how different his childhood was from one in a normal family. The photo stylist, the renowned Bruno Jacobs, has come up with some concepts that Betty finds in very poor taste, so she gets rid of him and tries to come up with ideas of her own. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina and Marc get lost on their way to JFK Airport to meet the mega-celeb couple and their star baby, and during their odyssey Wilhelmina asks Marc directly whether or not he was the one who called the mysterious masked woman from her office the night before. Their car breaks down and they have to hail a taxi, but Wilhelmina insults the cab driver and he makes them get out in the middle of a dodgy neighborhood. They end up seeking refuge in an inner city church and stealing from the donations box, because neither one has any cash. Sofia watches Betty in action, taking on the responsibilities of her absent boss, and is very impressed. Santos questions the way that Justin has been raised, feeling that his son has been feminized by not having a hyper-male role model, and Hilda resents his criticisms, particularly considering the fact that Santos was the one who'd abandoned them before Justin was even born. After having watched the tight-knit Suarez family interacting around their new Christmas tree, Daniel gets the inspiration for what he believes the Tim/Chloe/Chutney photo shoot should be about: no stylized, high-concept artsy shots, but something simple and normal, like the Suarezes' living room, freshly decorated for Christmas. Betty asks Sofia to give her a ride home, mainly so she can get Sofia to talk to Daniel. Sofia tells Betty that she has no real future at Mode, so she offers her a job at MYW. After the photo shoot wraps, Ignacio gets some visitors from Immigration and Customs Enforcement who have come to arrest him.

Trivia:  Tim, Chloe, and baby Chutney are clearly based on the newsmaking family of the moment, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and baby Suri.
